Chateau de Mayragues

Accommodation

Guest Rooms

With only two large, beautifully appointed guest rooms each with its own private bathroom, we try to ensure that our guests feel 'At Home' and enjoy to the full the individual attention which we provide. After accompanying you up two flights of the wide stone staircase in the centre of the Chateau then briefly along the open gallery pausing only to admire the view over the formal parterre in the garden to the vines and rolling wooded countryside beyond, we show you into the room and point out all the amenities at your disposal. It is quite a climb up the staircase so we're happy to lend a hand with your luggage if you want. Once you've made yourselves comfortable, we invite you for a welcoming glass of wine or cup of tea (in the garden if the weather's fine).

The charge including breakfast is 85 Euros per night for double occupancy and 80 Euros for single occupancy. We prefer a minimum stay of two nights, and we are happy to show you round the wine cellars and share a wine tasting with you during your stay.
Because the rooms open onto an open gallery, they are not suitable for young children who may be tempted to climb! Both rooms are non- smoking.

The holiday cottage

The holiday cottage  is totally independent  with its own shaded south- facing terrace sitting between the Chateau and the wine cellars looking out on to the dovecote.  Completely renovated in 2003, it comprises a living room with a well-equipped corner kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a small mezzanine (up a fairly steep stair!) with two single beds: central heating and a wood burning stove. Well-suited for a couple with one or two children.

Weekly rent:-
July/August 500 Euros
June/September 450 Euros
Other months 400 Euros
